TellThemWhatYouThink doesn't work very well anymore

This site was set up in 2008, to help people find Government consultations more easily, and to show that it could be done: quickly and easily. The site has never been funded as such, and has relied on volunteers for maintenance and support. It hasn't had much maintenance recently and this shows: some consultations can't be found and some functions don't work as they should. We are currently seeking funding for a new version of TellThemWhatYouThink.

In the meantime, you can search a limited number of departments for open consultations at the Directgov Consultation Finder.

A Defra Third Sector Strategy – a consultation on emerging issues and options

Consultation published by The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs View original »

This document invites views and suggestions about the way in which Defra can improve the way it engages with the third sector. The results of this consultation will help Defra prepare its Third Sector Strategy which we aim to publish in spring 2008.
The document covers a range of issues. It asks about ways in which the third sector can make an even bigger difference in tackling climate change, protecting the environment and supporting strong rural communities. It also asks about the way in which Defra can create a level playing field for third sector organisations in the way we do business.

Timeframe

This consultation started on 16th November 2007 and ended on 22nd February 2008.
